Staffordshire creamware Liverpool pitcher with “May Commerce Flourish” transfer. On reverse shows a Masonic transfer and under the spout shows a large eagle and shield. Extremely rare transfer that you just don’t see that often. This particular example is pictured in David and Linda Armans book on Anglo American Pottery. Excellent condition with a very small repair to the spout, otherwise quite nice. It measures 8 7/8” tall and dates circa 1800.
