Staffordshire creamware Liverpool tankard with one side being the “Arms of the United States - May Success attend our Agricultural, Trade and Manufacturing” on the reverse the “Arms of New York”. Very scarce transfer on Liverpool with only a handful known on pitchers. This is the only mug that we know of. It displays very well with professional hairline repairs and some touch up to the New York Transfer. It measures 4 1/2” in diameter by 5 1/8” tall and dates circa 1800.
