Staffordshire creamware Liverpool soup tureen with Washington memorial and Columbia holding an American shield. Shows this transfer on both side and on one side of the lid with the original owners initials. Then what some people refer to a pickle type transfers around it. It measures 9 1/4” tall by 8 1/2” by 14” across the handles. Soup tureens in creamware are extremely rare and very seldom show up. This one is in very good condition with what was a small internal hairline right in the center bottom that was fixed and then a few small chips under the lid flange that are still there.
