Historical Staffordshire pitcher with views of the Insane Asylum, New York to one side and New York City Hall to other, each with two figures in foreground, from the Flower and Foliage series. Impressed "CLEWS" on the base. I very good condition with a highly professional repair to the spout tip being broken and reattached. It measures 6 1/4 tall and dates circa 1825.
