Historical Staffordshire blue covered vegetable dish with a view of the Woodlands Near Philadelphia. Made by Joseph Stubbs from his Spread wing Eagle border series. In good condition with a professional repair to the lid that is invisible on the outside but on the underside has started to change color some. This particular view and form from this series can be scarce. It measures 9 3/8” by 11 3/4” and it dates circa 1825.
