Historical Staffordshire blue edge Leeds Pearlware platter with “Welcome Lafayette Our Nations Guest” By Clews. We have only ever handled a few platters with this transfer as it’s mostly found on plates. This platter displays well but does have a break repair that is invisible. It measures 10 1/4” by 13 5/8” and dates circa 1825.
