Staffordshire Pearlware pink luster historical pitcher with transfers of the Seal of the United States and Fisher Ames on Reverse. What makes this piece very neat is a Henshaw and Jarves Importers of Earthenware and china Ware Boston mark under the spout, From Wood and Caldwells manufactory in Burslem Staffordshire. Fisher Ames was a representative in the United States Congress from the 1st congressional district of Massachusetts. This pitcher is in excellent condition with a professional repair to the spout. Otherwise in very fine condition. It measures 7 3/4” from the tip of the spout to the handle by 6 7/8” tall and dates circa 1820.
