Mochaware barrel form pitcher with earthworm design. A very nice early form with earthworm design on a yellowish orange pumpkin color background. With a nice early foliate handle terminals as well. There are few in the making pottery imperfections on the spout with a glazed over chip and line where the spout meets the body. Then there is a short line on the bottom of the handle and an short internal line on the body. Then there is a chip on the spout. Really sound like a lot but really isn’t. We just want to be fully accurate. It measures 5 1/2” from the tip of the spout to the handle by 4 1/2 tall and dates circa 1820.
