Historical Staffordshire blue plate with Welcome Lafayette The Nations Guest and our Country’s Glory transfer. This plate displays good but does have 2 short hairlines, mostly visible on the back. Made by Clews for Lafayette’s return visit to America. It measures 6 7/8” in diameter and dates circa 1825.
