Staffordshire Pearlware blue edge plate with folky American Eagle and Shield design. Fairly unusual Eagle when it comes to these particular plates. Fair condition with wear, small back chip and short hairline. Came from a museum deaccession few years ago. Still presents well on a shelf. It measures 6 1/4” in diameter and dates circa 1820.
