Staffordshire War of 1812 pitcher in black with a bust portrait of American naval hero Stephen Decatur above cannons, flanked by ships and flags. The reverse shows a detailed depiction of the naval engagement titled "The Wasp Boarding the Frolic", referencing the War of 1812. Measures 5 1/2” tall and dates circa 1815. Very good condition with a professional repair to the spout.
