Historical Staffordshire blue covered vegetable dish with a view of the Woodlands Near Philadelphia. Made by Joseph Stubbs from his Spread wing Eagle border series. In very good condition with the base being in perfect condition and the lid just showing a short hairline off the edge. This particular view and form from this series can be scarce. It measures 9 3/8” by 11 3/4” and it dates circa 1825.
