Staffordshire blue transfer covered vegetable dish from the “Quadrupeds” series by Hall. Shows polar bears on a shore line with hunters in a canoe. This form and view is quite scarce. The lid shows a short hairline and the base has a very well done professional repair to a break on the one side. It measures 9 3/4” square by 6 3/4” tall and dates circa 1825.
