Staffordshire blue transfer platter with Horses from the “Quadrupeds” series by Hall. Central view shows 2 horses grazing in a field surrounded by a border with 4 vignettes of other animals. In very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Does show some even glaze wear to the font but nothing too bad. Still has a good shiny glaze. It measures 9 7/8” by 12 1/2” and dates circa 1825.
