Staffordshire Creamware Liverpool pitcher with an American polychrome ship and Proscribed Patriots on the reverse with a Jefferson Seal of the United States. The memory of Washington and the Proscribed Patriots. Shows a Washington Memorial with portraits of Samuel Adams and John Hancock. All transfers are polychromed. This particular example is quite striking with some maroon bands and a yellow trim on the top rim. Can’t think of the last time I have seen one with yellow. Very good condition with minor spout and small chip repair. It measures 8” tall by 8 5/8” from the tip of the spout to the handle. It dates circa 1800.
